Overall, I think it was worth it

I went on a hunt at the Huntington Beach Goodwill a few weeks ago looking for a pair of overalls to revamp. The workers there were cool and all joined me on the hunt (this of course gave me the nickname "Overalls Girl" from the staff). I was about to go home, sad that I couldn't find a pair when these came out from the back. I snatched them up and cut off the mom legs and sewed the sides a little to turn it into the denim overall dress that you see here.

Of course, my random urge to get a pair of overalls wouldn't have surfaced had it not been for Anisa (find her at yandseamless.blogspot.com). She's been parading around in her pair for a while now and I envy how sleek and comfortable hers look!

Always gotta mess up my hair before I leave anywhere. I hate it when it's really nicely done without a strand out of place. 

Thank goodness for the weekend. Meeting up with Jason and Anisa for some Margaritas to chill out.

AMERICAN CUPCAKE

Went to American Cupcake in the marina to get brunch and then went to the annual LF sale this past weekend. Didn't really get much goodies, but it was really fun! I was joined by my friend Amanda and blogger love Anisa from Young and Seamless. We had the worst time finding parking, but it was all worth it when we stopped by Japantown on our way home so I could indulge in some yummy ramen.

Got a new camera! (Canon t3i) Need some time to play around with it, but I'm expecting way better photo quality from this baby. Shweeeeeet.

Also, I've realized that my blog pictures haven't been the best quality because of the way blogger works in terms of resizing images. I resized most of my blog pictures via photoshop this time and they look way better.
